Ducklings!

We noticed that mama had left her nest for a brief swim in the pond, so we grabbed the camera and ran to the nest to snag some pictures.  

We counted 10 furry little ducklings. Hard to tell in the photo, as they all kept climbing on top of each other.

And there are still more eggs to hatch.

8 more eggs to hatch. Plus the one in the center at the bottom is in the process of hatching, so 9 more. Yikes!

We had found one egg a couple of days ago in the middle of the lawn cracked open. So, that makes a total of 20 eggs for this mama duck. Wow, what a mama!
